How much does buyer representation cost?

We charge for our Buyer representation services on an hourly basis. For a typical residential transaction, fees are usually around $3,500. With changes to the real estate industry beginning August 17th, 2024, Buyers must sign a written Buyer Representation Agreement before starting the home buying process. This agreement is required by law and ensures you receive the best representation possible during your purchase.

Recent changes in the industry

The national real estate settlement that took effect in 2024 introduced new rules for Buyer representation. Buyers must now sign a written Buyer Representation Agreement before touring homes or starting the process. Previously, a Buyer’s agent was compensated by the Seller through MLS™. However, under the new settlement, this is no longer automatic, and Buyers may need to pay their broker directly. We can help you navigate these changes and make sure you're fully informed before making any decisions.

Do You Need a Realtor®?

If you need help touring homes, analyzing the market, and determining your offer, a Buyer’s Agent is still a great resource. However, if you’ve already found a home online and just need help with the contract, negotiations, and closing, we can step in and represent you on an hourly basis. We've worked alongside Realtors® for years, providing Buyers with full-service representation or partial assistance, depending on their needs.
